Welcome to the our websites forum, this special help section is to help you on any questions you may have about the fprum or the website in general, or just help navigating the forum. Its pretty easy but even I still have questions about what to do at times. Remember, any question asked isn't stupid to ask no matter how small or big it is, just ask, we're are here to help.
I know you may have some questions about what is what around here so I am going to explain a few basic things right now. I will be posting new questions I think need to be in here from time to time, I will edit this and enter the edited date in the subject so everyone knows there are new things to review on here that you, yourself may even have been wondering.
What is a PM? A PM is a "Private Message" it is basically your email inbox for runboard, its private conversations between you and another member so you dont have to have a public conversation if you wish to speak in private a PM is the way to go. If you wish to PM someone on the board simply click "PM (member name)" and type out your message and push send
What is a "Closed Topic"? A closed topic means that that particular thread has been closed and is no longer available for discussion, it is however still available to read. Only a staff member can close and reopen these topics
What is a "Sticky Topic"? A sticky topic means that the particular thread being discussed will always be at the very top of that section, instead of being pushed down to the bottom. Most of the time these are very important topics. Once again only a staff member can Sticky a thread
What is a "Thread"? A thread is the topic in which you are discussing and posting a comment to, for example this particular post is being posted in this thread "The Whats, what on here" is a thread
Where did my post go? Your post may have been removed due to breaking the rules with your particular post, remember what was said and go read the rules thread and see if that post may have been in violation to something that was said. If you feel your post wasn't harmful in anyway please contact one of the staff members for further details.
Why is my posting saying someone edited it? Your post may have had an image too big that it was stretching out the forum too much and was reduced to just a link. The link you posted may have been edited so that it was made to be a click-able link instead of members having to copy and paste the link in their browsers. There may have also been a certain word or phrase that shouldn't been used
How do I make a clickable link? When you are replying to a post and you are typing your message out below the "choose post icon" box click on the box that says "insert link" and copy and paste your link in that box that comes up
What is "choose a post icon"? A post icon is the little icon that shows when you look in a section at threads made. An example is the little letter symbol that appears to the side of the thread is a "post icon" its a way to express if the thread is happy/sad/worrying/ etc. You do not have to put one of those if you dont wish to, they are just there if you want to use one to express your feelings toward that thread
